North Carolina Masonic Foundation
The North Carolina Masonic Foundation was established in 1929 to financially support and ensure the vitality of the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford and WhiteStone: a Masonic and Eastern Star Community at Greensboro.
Today, the Foundation also financially assists the Charles Edward Cathey Scholarship Fund, the Masonic Historic Preservation Fund, as well as the greater mission of fraternity to foster faith, hope, and charity across North Carolina. The Foundation is a 501c3, non-profit corporation and all contributions to it are tax deductible.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation is comprised of five members who oversee the investment of donations and bequests made to the Foundation. Donations and bequests can be made to the general fund, or can be allocated to specific purposes—such as the Home for Children, deserving aged brothers and sisters at WhiteStone, students looking to further their education, or to the preservation of our Masonic heritage.
The Masonic Foundation is more than just money. Its investments and returns are the byproduct of Freemasonry in practice and it makes our world a better place—for young and old alike. Please explore what our Foundation has accomplished, and what we hope to accomplish in the future.
